Pheron Dale (Sam) Harbour, husband of Jan Harbour, died January 1, 2010 after his incredibly courageous battle against cancer. He was born August 27, 1943 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Sam attended high school in Duncan, Oklahoma, and also attended Oklahoma University and Central State University. In 1961, he enlisted and honorably served in the U.S. Army. For many years, he has served as managing partner of Mardale Drilling Company. Sam was preceded in death by his father and mother, Dell and Beulah Harbour; his brother, Gerald Warren Harbour; and his nephew, Mark David Harbour. He was also preceded in death by his dog "Hombre." He is survived by his beloved wife, Jan; and her daughter, Jennifer Cooper and her husband Bill; and their children: Tyler, Haley, Ben and Jake, of Oklahoma City; his son, Jonathan Dell Harbour and his wife Melissa, and her son, Zachary, of Longview, Washington; his son, Noah Andrew Harbour of Fort Collins, Colorado; his brother, David Mark Harbour and his wife Janet, of Paradise Valley, Arizona; his niece, Laure Cordell and her husband Kevin, and their children: Claire, Madeline and Spencer, of Flower Mound, Texas; his niece, Julie Sterling and her husband David, and their children: Riley and Grace, of Oklahoma City; his niece, Lisa MacDonald and her husband Fred, and their children: Chase and Hannah, of San Ynez, California; his niece, Cherie Harbour and her son, Cooper, of San Ynez, California; and other extended family and friends he also loved, and particularly his good friend, Barney Sands of Duncan, Oklahoma.
