A native son and lifelong resident of Morgantown, David Raese is the Publisher of the Morgantown Dominion-Post and also serves as Vice-Chairman of the West Virginia Radio Corporation Board of Directors. The son of the late Jane Greer Raese and former WVU basketball coach Richard A. “Dyke” Raese, David - like his brother John - attended public schools in Morgantown and earned a journalism degree from West Virginia University. His career with the Dominion-Post began as a sportswriter and columnist after his graduation from WVU before taking the role of publisher in 1987. David is an avid fisherman and sports fan. His community service record includes serving as the campaign chair for the 2002 United Way in Monongalia and Preston counties, a long-time and active member of the Rotary Club, as well as being a board member for the West Virginia Family Greif Center and the Monongalia County Child Advocacy Center. David and wife Kathleen have four children.
