Jim Bayless is a shareholder in Winstead's Government Relations Practice Group and Winstead Consulting Group. A native of Houston, Texas, Jim has three decades' experience in Washington, D.C., as an attorney, private consultant, and former U.S. government official. He specializes in advising and representing clients, principally in the energy, electric-utility, hospitality, and transportation industries, on legislative and regulatory matters before the U.S. government. He also provides legal counsel to clients on their reporting obligations under the newly enacted federal lobbying laws.
