John founded Corvias Group based on three core principles: be the best place to work, be the best provider of service, and generously give back to the communities where we live and serve. John grew up in a real estate development family and now has more than 30 years of professional real estate experience. His leadership has developed Corvias Group into a privately owned family of companies that provides creative and sustainable solutions for clients within the military, higher education and public sectors. John has a passion for conceptualizing new ideas and creating opportunities out of challenges. He spearheads our visionary public-private partnership model, which allows us to successfully address the large-scale infrastructure, housing and deferred maintenance issues facing the nation. In 1998, John founded Picerne Military Housing — now Corvias Military Living — to significantly improve housing for U.S. service members. He founded Corvias Campus Living in 2012 to offer solutions for higher education. And in 2013, he founded Corvias Solutions, which tackles sustainable public environmental, energy and infrastructure challenges. In keeping with his philosophy of giving back, John established Corvias Foundation, which has awarded $5.5 million in scholarships and grants to support the spouses and children of active-duty service members in their pursuit of higher education since 2006. He lives in Providence, RI with his wife, Heather, and their four daughters.
