George David

George A. David, OBE MFR, lives in Greece and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. Since graduating from the University of Edinburgh in 1959, Mr. David has built extensive national and international experience in both business and philanthropy. He holds a position on the Board of Directors of Petros Petropoulos AVEE and Titan Cement Co. S.A. Mr. David is a trustee of the A.G. Leventis Foundation, chairman of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies, member of the Board of the Hellenic Institute of Defence and foreign policy (ELIAMEP) and a regent of the Edinburgh University. In 2009, Mr. David was appointed member of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for his services to UK-Greek relations in the field of education. He was also appointed member of the Order of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (MFR) for his special and outstanding service to the benefit and progress of the Nigerian nation and Archon of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.
