Thomas MacArthur served in the US House of Representatives for two terms from 2015 to 2019. He narrowly lost his seat to Democrat Andrew Kim in a November 2018 where Constitution Party candidate Lawrence Berlinski Jr. might have played a "spoiler role". With reported assets totaling a minimum of $31.8M (2017) and estimated at almost $53M by some, Tom MacArthur is the wealthiest member of New Jersey's congressional delegation. An insurance adjuster, MacArthur was chairman and CEO of York Risk Services Group, a multi-national organization that provides insurance services. MacArthur was also on the Randolf, NJ, Township Council and later Major from 2011 to 2013.
