As Principal in the Washington office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, Mr. Platt works on a range of national security and international economic issues. He focuses on providing strategic advice to companies - both large and small - on high tech matters in the Executive and Legislative branches that affect their interests. Mr. Platt previously has been Chief of the Arms Transfer Division of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency, principal foreign policy advisor to U.S. Senator Edmund Muskie, a senior staff member of The Rand Corporation, and a Fellow at The Hoover Institution. He is the author of three books and more than thirty articles on national security and international economic issues.
