Raymond V Gilmartin

Raymond V. Gilmartin has been a Professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School since July 2006. He is the former Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Merck & Company, Inc., a pharmaceutical company, and served in that capacity from November 1994 to May 2005. He served as Special Advisor to the Executive Committee of the Board of Merck from May 2005 until April 2006. He previously served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Becton Dickinson and Company. Mr. Gilmartin is a director of Microsoft Corporation.
