Robert Rodriguez, Ph.D., is the founder and president of Dr. Robert Rodriguez Advisors, LLC (DRR Advisors), a management and diversity consulting firm that helps business leaders elevate the impact and effectiveness of their workplace inclusion initiatives. Dr. Rodriguez specializes in enterprise diversity strategy planning, employee resource group optimization, and Latino talent management programs. Over 100 corporations have sought his expertise and consultation to develop proactive diversity initiatives that have a positive impact on business results. So many corporations rely on Dr. Rodriguez for insight on their diversity initiatives that in October 2010, Hispanic Business Magazine named Robert one of the Top 100 Most Influential Latinos in America. Prior to starting DRR Advisors, Dr. Rodriguez held nonprofit, academic, and corporate leadership roles. He most recently was the senior vice president at ALPFA (www.alpfa.org), the nation’s leading Latino professional nonprofit business association, where he led their diversity consulting practice and still remains an active affiliate of the ALPFA Institute, leading consulting engagements on the Institute’s behalf. Dr. Rodriguez also held faculty and administrative roles at Kaplan University and also previously taught in the MBA program at the Kellstadt School of Business at DePaul University. He has also held several human resource leadership roles at Fortune 500 firms, including Target Corporation, 3M Company, Amoco and The Washington Post. He received his Bachelor’s degree in business management and his doctorate in Organization Development. He is also a graduate of the UCLA Latino Leadership Institute.
