Richard L. Bloch, President, Pinon Farm, Inc. and Co-management Partner of CLB Partners, a financial and investment banking consultancy. Mr. Richard L. Bloch Co-founded CLB Partners Ltd in 1997 and serves as its Partner. Mr. Bloch has broad and diverse background ranges from real estate to financial services, and from the entertainment industry to the political arena. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Pinon Farm Inc., and has been its President since 1982. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Filmways Inc. Mr. Bloch was a co-founder and principal owner of the Phoenix Suns NBA basketball team. He was a Co-owner of the NBC-affiliated KVOA television station in Tucson, Arizona. His real estate experience includes co-developing and/or owning the Gulf & Western Building in New York City, a Hyatt Hotel in Los Angeles, the Transamerica Building in Tucson and several IBM and Allstate Insurance facilities. Mr. Bloch served as Chairman of the Board of Trust Managers of Columbus Realty Trust since October 1993. He served as Chairman of Filmways Inc., and Chairman of its principal subsidiaries, Union Fidelity Insurance and Grossett & Dunlap Inc., from 1976 to 1982. He has been a Director of City National Corp., since 1979 and City National Bank (the bank), a subsidiary of City National Corp., since 1974. He has been a Director of Cantel Corporation since 1988. Mr. Bloch served as a Director of Ascendant Solutions Inc., from March 2002 to February 16, 2005. Mr. Bloch served as a Director of Data Broadcasting Corporation from 1993 to 1995 and Glenayre Technology (formerly, NuWest Corporation) from 1987 to 1992. Mr. Bloch served on the Board of Directors of the 22nd District Agricultural Association from In January 2001 to 2005. He was appointed by President Bill Clinton to the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board, on which he served from 1995 to 1998. Mr. Bloch holds a B.S. from the University of Chicago.
