Monica Elizabeth Crowley is currently Senior Advisor for Public Affairs to the Secretary of the Treasury. She previously served as a political and foreign affairs analyst on Fox News, Fox Business, ABC News, NBC News, MSNBC, PBS, and multiple other radio and digital platforms. A New York Times bestselling author, she is also a longtime opinion columnist for national publications. She was named “Woman of the Year” by the Clare Boothe Luce Institute at the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2010 and received the “Excellence in Journalism Award” from the Women’s National Republican Club in 2014. Prior to her media career, Ms. Crowley served as Foreign Policy Assistant to former President Richard Nixon from 1990 until his death in 1994. Monica Crowley is a host and political and foreign affairs analyst for the Fox News Channel and the Online Opinion Editor and columnist for The Washington Times. She has also been a regular panelist on The McLaughlin Group and an anchor on MSNBC. She is the author of The New York Times bestseller, What The (Bleep) Just Happened? The Happy Warrior’s Guide to the Great American Comeback. She served as Foreign Policy Assistant to former President Richard Nixon from 1990 until his death in 1994, and wrote two bestsellers about her experiences, Nixon Off the Record and Nixon in Winter. A member of the Council on Foreign Relations, she graduated from Colgate University and holds two Master's degrees and a doctorate in International Relations from Columbia University. Crowley will serve under National Security Advisor, retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, and with fellow former Fox News analyst KT McFarland who was named as a part of Trump’s national security team last month.
