Dave Gilboa is Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Warby Parker, a transformative lifestyle brand offering designer eyewear at a revolutionary price, while leading the way for socially-conscious businesses. Prior to Warby Parker, he was an Associate at Allen & Company, a merchant bank, where he invested in seed-stage and venture-stage healthcare and digital media companies, and advised mergers and acquisition transactions exceeding $20B. Previously he worked at Bain & Company, formulating and implementing business strategies for some of the world's leading retail and technology companies.
Dave has also held strategy and business development roles at Genomic Health, Crescendo Bioscience and The TriZetto Group. He is a founding member of the Entrepreneur Board of Venture for America and is on the Board of Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship NYC. He was named the 2013 Ernst & Young New York Disruptive Entrepreneur of the Year and is a 2012 NYC Venture Fellow.
Dave graduated with a BS in Bioengineering with Honors from UC Berkeley and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at U Penn. He is a member of the 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
