Martin A Stein

Mr. Martin A. Stein has been the President of Sonoma Mountain Ventures, LLC (strategic and technology consulting and venture capital) since October 1998. Mr. Stein served as Vice Chairman of Technology, Operations and Payment of BankAmerica Corporation and its subsidiary, Bank of America National Trust and Savings Association, since April 27, 1992. From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Stein served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for PaineWebber in New York. Additionally, from 1976 to 1986, he served as an Executive Vice President for Fleet Financial Group, responsible for strategic planning, product development, marketing, MIS, operations and payments. Mr. Stein has been a Director of Bank of Hawaii Corporation since 1999. Mr. Stein also holds board positions with the FICS - a Belgium software company, Cardis Enterprises, Lynx Photonic Networks Inc., PaymentNet Inc. and the Hurwitz Group which supplies guidance on distributed software technology. he served as a Director of Wall Street Access Corporation. Mr. Stein served as a Director of Exigen, Inc. He served as a Director of Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. since September 1998. He graduated cum laude with a BA degree in English and Philosophy and holds an Honorary Doctorate in Commercial Science from St. John's University.
