Tom Hartley

Tom Hartley is President and CEO of Kroll Advisory Solutions, the global leader in risk mitigation and response solutions that span investigations, due diligence, compliance, cyber security and physical security. Based in London, Mr. Hartley leads a multidisciplinary team of more than 700 employees operating in 29 cities across 17 countries. Mr. Hartley was named President of Kroll Advisory Solutions at the business unit’s inception in February 2012. Mr. Hartley previously served as Senior Vice President and Global Head of Kroll’s Business Intelligence & Investigations practice and before that as Vice President and Regional Managing Director of Kroll Consulting Services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Before joining Kroll in 2009, Mr. Hartley was a Partner with KPMG in London where he led the UK arm of the Transactions Services Strategy Group. This involved advising corporate and financial clients on transactions, leading on strategy development, advising on brand strategy and driving large-scale performance improvement programs. Mr. Hartley’s previous experience includes roles with leading global business and strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, launching a successful e-commerce business, and four years at Procter & Gamble. Mr. Hartley earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School, a master’s degree in History from the University of Edinburgh and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
