Josh Lahey is a Managing Director at The Glover Park Group and specializes in advertising, media buying and planning and crisis communications. While at The Glover Park Group, Lahey has worked in a variety of capacities including as the lead account manager of large integrated projects for the property and casualty insurance industry as they worked to address significant public policy questions arising after Hurricane Katrina to major television broadcasters concerned that new rating technology would undercount minority audiences. Currently, Lahey helps to manage The Glover Park Group’s advertising department, and facilitates creative development and media buying/planning. Lahey joined The Glover Park Group after a ten-year career in Democratic politics. Most recently, he was a founding partner of Ginsberg-Lahey, a Democratic opposition and vulnerability research firm. Prior to that, he served as a Senior Advisor to Carter Eskew, Al Gore chief communications and media consultant during the 2000 election and recount. In that capacity Lahey worked from the Nashville, TN war room of Gore 2000 and helped coordinate the activities of the campaigns polling, direct mail and media consultants. He has also played a critical role in the operations of the speechwriting department at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Democratic National Convention. Lahey holds a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
