Phil Battey

Phil Battey is the Vice President, External Affairs at Promontory Interfinancial Network. Formerly, he was the Director of Public Affairs at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Prior to that, he was a public affairs advisor to various FDIC Chairmen and to Comptrollers of the Currency. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Editorial Services at the American Bankers Association and Washington correspondent for the American Banker. Mr. Battey earned degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
