Marie L. Lerch, a Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President, is responsible for firmwide marketing and communications, including: Corporate identity and brand communications Press relations and executive communications Digital communications Internal communications Marketing strategy and programs across the firm’s major businesses Ms. Lerch serves as the chief communications officer for Booz Allen’s Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. She also serves in management and governance roles at Booz Allen, where she is responsible for communications for the firm’s Leadership Team and is Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors, and co-leads the firm’s investor relations function. Speeches written by Ms. Lerch have been delivered at major forums throughout the world, and published in Vital Speeches of the Day, Executive Speaker, and 50 High-Impact Speeches and Remarks, published by McGraw Hill. In her 30-year career, she has received numerous awards for excellence in communications programs and speechwriting by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the International Association of Business Communications (IABC), and has spoken at major conferences on communications strategy and speechwriting. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Ms. Lerch was on the Corporate Communications staff of NUS Corporation, a subsidiary of Halliburton Corporation. At NUS, she wrote, edited, and produced the corporation's quarterly magazine, and supervised production of the annual report. Ms. Lerch holds a B.A. degree in English from Loyola College, and an M.S. in Public Relations from American University, and a graduate certificate in Investor Relations from the University of California-Irvine.
