Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Jeff Hamstra, based at the firm’s Annapolis Junction, Maryland, office, is a leader in the firm’s security business. He is recognized for providing expertise in telecommunications, and systems engineering and integration across the firm’s diversified client areas, including Department of Defense (DoD), and commercial and international markets. Mr. Hamstra and his team focus on assignments in the following areas: Telecommunications technologies Systems integration and mission support Cyber technology, security, and operations Next generation technology evaluation and insertion Network architecture and engineering Systems engineering Mr. Hamstra’s engineering and leadership experience includes expertise in data and telephony communications, systems engineering and integration, product development, program management and capture leadership. He has led projects for commercial companies, telecommunications providers, and various clients across the DoD. During his 11-year career at Booz Allen, Mr. Hamstra served as the President and Chairman of the Board for the AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter. He also served on advisory boards for the University of Maryland and Loyola University and was involved with Anne Arundel Community College Cyber Curriculum Development. He has been involved with the local community in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) initiatives and Rebuilding Baltimore. Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Hamstra served in senior technical and leadership roles with both AT&T Bell Laboratories and Lucent Bell Laboratories, as well as Aeronautical Radio, Inc. (ARINC). Mr. Hamstra has a B.S. degree in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University and an M.S. degree in telecommunications from the University of Maryland. He has held his Program Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Program Management Institute (PMI) since 2005.
