Booz Allen Hamilton Vice President Bob Sogegian leads the firm’s law enforcement services business across the US Departments of Justice and Homeland Security, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), US Marshalls Service (USMS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the US Secret Service (USSS). He has over 25 years of experience providing a broad range of management and technology consulting services to public and private sector clients. Mr. Sogegian has extensive experience helping clients apply advanced technology solutions to the business of law enforcement and security, including: Defining strategies for science and technology programs Analyzing and restructuring research and development portfolios Managing the execution of technical development initiatives Planning, developing, and deploying advanced technical investigative capabilities used in the acquisition, collection, and analysis of digital evidence and intelligence Identifying and executing strategies associated with lawful interception of communications Developing and deploying computer and network forensics capabilities Building programs and capabilities focused on evolving technologies, such as biometrics and advanced analytics, to support law enforcement and intelligence mission applications Prior to joining Booz Allen, Mr. Sogegian was a systems engineer in the telecommunications industry. He worked for several manufacturers of switching and transport systems, supporting the full lifecycle of product development, application engineering, and field deployment. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Association for Computing Machinery, and International Association of Chiefs of Police. He received a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University and a Masters degree in engineering management from George Washington University.
