With two decades of experience in the field of cyber technologies, Senior Vice President John Feeney leads Booz Allen Hamilton’s cyber efforts across the firm’s civil government market. He also leads the firm’s business in the Departments of Agriculture and Labor, and the National Science Foundation. Since joining the firm in 1995, Mr. Feeney has contributed to Booz Allen engagements his expertise in strategic network planning and design, data communications implementation, and evaluation of both hardware and network service offerings. His extensive experience also includes program management, telecommunications planning, and operational assessments. Mr. Feeney has led teams that integrate traditional data center technologies with current cloud-based offerings for the federal government. His experience in network technology includes work with IP networking, enterprise management solutions, storage networks and telecommunication management. His engagements at the firm have included managing a 5-year LAN program to upgrade and transform the enterprise communications environment for a 16,000-person federal organization with 32 locations. In addition, Mr. Feeney has supported several client telecom program offices that have developed the transition to the voice seat management program; developed the transition to a converged service model; provided operational and technical support for voice and data programs; developed business cases for new initiatives; and supported financial planning for the telecom working capital fund. He also led efforts to consolidate the network infrastructure, data center resources, help desk, and email systems across a 165,000-person organization, including developing communications architectures, technical design reviews and migration plans, and building operational models and cost analysis to ensure efficient, cost-effective client operations. Mr. Feeney holds a B.S. degree in computer science from the University of Virginia and an M.S. degree in business administration from George Mason University.
