Prior to joining C. S. McKee in 2000, Mr. Melvin was president and chief investment officer of Dartmouth Capital Advisors, Inc., an institutional investment management firm he founded in 1995. There he compiled a record of beating market returns on both equity and fixed income investments. Mr. Melvin spent the previous 15 years managing investments at Federated Investors, serving as vice president, senior portfolio manager and member of the Investment Policy Committee for asset allocation funds. Funds in several categories under his management at Federated Investors won top rankings from Lipper, Inc. A chartered financial analyst, Mr. Melvin holds an M.B.A. degree in finance from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. He graduated from Brooks School in North Andover, MA. Greg and his wife, Judge Joan Orie Melvin of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania (currently running for Supreme Court of PA), have six children on a total of 27 softball and basketball teams. As a result, says Greg, he has “no life outside of an occasional round of golf” at Oakmont Country Club. He is on the Board of Directors of First National Bank. He and his family live in Wexford, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh.
