Prior to joining Promontory Financial Group, Christy served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the Department of Treasury, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. At the Department of Treasury, she provided the Office of Debt Management, which issues Treasury bills, notes, and bonds, with economic analysis supporting debt issuance decisions. She also helped the office modernize its information technology infrastructure. During the height of the financial crisis, Christy assisted in administering the Capital Purchase Program, a $250 billion portion of the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program that injected capital into banks across the country. At the FDIC and CFTC, Christy performed securities-related research to support the agencies' respective chief economists.
