The founder of the independent production company Evolution Media, Douglas Ross heads up the company’s varied slate of reality programs. Currently, Ross is Executive Producer of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Orange County, WE’s critically acclaimed High School Confidential and Disney’s new Parent Trappers. Recent credits include MTV’s comedy Yo Momma, truTV’s action drama Ocean Force and TLC’s long-running Clean Sweep and 10 Years Younger. Ross is considered an innovator in the “reality” television genre having created TV’s first teen reality drama, Disney’s Bug Juice, and launching the first season of NBC’s alternative series Fear Factor, and the first season of CBS’s Big Brother. Ross is also known for challenging convention with Bravo’s high-profile gay romance series Boy Meets Boy and the network’s docu-series Gay Weddings. He was also the Executive Producer of the politically charged feature documentary Camp Out, which details the first summer camp for Christian gay and lesbian teens. Ross is an active member the American Civil Liberties Union.
