Carlos Mier y Terán

Carlos Mier y Terán is a VMS alumnus and industrial engineer with an MBA from Harvard. He is the founder and CEO of Grupo MYT, a restaurant developing and operating group that currently runs 13 restaurants in Mexico and one in New York City. Carlos has wide experience in capital procurement for his own company and other entrepreneurial endeavors, such as film production in Mexico. He is also currently starting a non-profit organization focused on training street youth for the restaurant industry. Additionally, he is starting a business plan competition in Mexico with other HBS alumni to help trigger entrepreneurial drive in Mexico.
