Dr. Edward D. Miller retired as CEO and chief fundraiser of John Hopkins Medicine, dean of The John Hopkins University School of Medicine and Vice President for Medicine of the John Hopkins University in June 2012. Dr. Miller joined John Hopkins in 1994 and was named interim dean of the school of medicine in 1996. Prior to this, Dr. Miller served at Columbia University for eight years and spent 11 years at the University of Virginia. Dr. Miller received his AB from Ohio Wesleyan University and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry.
