National Parents Union is a front for billionaire driven privatization of public education, including by the Walton family, Charles Koch, and others.
National Parents Union was founded in 2020 with a goal "to take on the (teachers) unions in the national and regional media, and eventually on the ground in advocacy fights." NPU's primary funder is the Walton Family Foundation with additional funding from other billionaire sources including the Vela Education Fund, a joint venture of the WFF and Charles Koch Institute.
