COVID Collaborative has partnered with the Ad Council on the COVID-19 Vaccine Education Initiative. The campaign, which officially launched February 25th, will be one of the largest public health education campaigns in history.
COVID Collaborative has brought together a diverse advisory group to support the vaccination campaign and to ensure that vaccine messaging is not only informed by the best science, but by representatives of historically marginalized communities to make sure the messages will resonate.
Our goal is to ensure the American public has the most accurate information possible to get them educated on the vaccines and, ultimately, feel empowered to make an informed choice for themselves and their families. We must move from vaccine hesitancy to vaccine confidence. This will be a multi-faceted, research-driven effort with a number of distinct campaigns designed to reach different audiences, including – importantly – communities of color who have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
