Webinar Resources Pay for Success and SIPPRA: A Model for Investing in Social Determinants of Health When: Oct. 26, 2018 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. ET What: Have you heard of SIPPRA? Passed in 2018, the Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (SIPPRA) provides $100 million to support the launch of state and local Pay for Success initiatives—an innovative contracting approach that ties payments to the achievement of measurable outcomes. This new program is an opportunity for states and local governments to incorporate outcomes-based decision making into the provision of human and social services to improve results for people. This webinar provided an overview of Pay for Success, detailed how the tool has been used to advance policy initiatives, explained how it fits into the larger set of options for coordinating social and health spending, explored how advocates and others can leverage this new opportunity to improve health outcomes, and described how state and local governments can leverage SIPPRA funding to improve health outcomes.
