Invitation Homes owns about 82,500 single-family properties nationally. Colony Starwood Homes rebranded as Starwood Waypoint Homes in 2016 and then merged in 2017 with Invitation Homes. Invitation Homes is the leading owner and operator of single-family rental homes in the United States. Through disciplined market and asset selection, we have assembled a portfolio of over 80,000 high quality homes in 17 major markets (Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Nashville, Northern California, Orlando, Phoenix, Seattle, Southern California, South Florida, and Tampa), with a focus on the Western United States and Florida. We target desirable neighborhoods in convenient proximity to major employment centers, good schools, and transportation corridors. We have designed our portfolio with geographic concentration that cannot be easily replicated, providing economies of scale that enable us to efficiently and effectively serve our residents.
