The Principal Leadership Pipeline seeks to identify candidates who are exceptional educators, have significant experience in urban education and are committed to pursuing school leadership in Chicago. Strong candidates will have a blend of the following competencies: Success in an urban education environment as demonstrated by academic gains of students taught; proven Leadership and relationship building capabilities, as demonstrated by instructional leadership roles and community leadership positions; long-term commitment to school leadership as demonstrated by at least four years of outcome-driven practice in the classroom by September 2012.
