Friends of Democracy — founded in 2012 — intends to play in House races across the country in support of candidates who back their reformist tendencies. David Donnelly, who serves as director of the group, told POLITICO it intends to spend somewhere between $5 million and $6 million in 2014 with the intention of “doubling the number of House races we’re in, including looking at expanding to primaries.”
