These college presidents signed a letter indicating that they were "troubled by the Department of Labor’s apparent recent shift toward the regulation of internships" after the Department released a fact sheet indicating that most internships are actually considered employment under US laws, subjecting interns to minimum wage and overtime requirements of the FLSA.
