Mr. Bossert comes to Chief from the law firm of Post & Schell where he was the chair of the Environmental Regulation and Litigation Group in the firm’s Harrisburg office. From 1995 to 1999 he was Chief Counsel for the Department of Environmental Protection. He formerly served as a Deputy Attorney General with the Criminal Law Division at the Office of Attorney General, where he supervised prosecution of environmental crimes. Mr. Bossert is a member of the Executive Committee of the Environmental Affairs Committee of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Climate Change Advisory Committee, having been appointed to that position by the Majority Leader of the Pennsylvania Senate. Mr. Bossert received his B.A. from Susquehanna University and his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University.
