"I’m a native Oregonian with a background in private business, the nonprofit world, and law and have been Chief Executive Officer of Meyer Memorial Trust since April 2002. Prior to joining MMT, I served as National Director of Portland-based Friends of the Children and initiated the expansion of its model program to five cities. Before entering the nonprofit world, I held several executive positions at NIKE, including global director of public affairs (which included the NIKE Foundation and crafting NIKE’s first corporate responsibility plan), assistant director of sports marketing (which included signing marquee sports properties and athletes) and assistant corporate counsel. Prior to joining NIKE, I toiled for 10 years as an attorney in private practice with a focus on corporate litigation. I’m a graduate of both Stanford University and Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. I’ve served on a number of national and local boards of organizations, fueled by my passion for youth, community building and improving the field of philanthropy."
