Philip H Geier Jr

Philip H. Geier Jr., former Chairman-CEO of The Interpublic Group of Companies, died June 19 2019 at the age of 84. Mr. Geier was Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc. from 1980 to 2000 and was a Director of Interpublic from 1975 to 2000. Mr. Geier is also a Senior Advisor for Lazard Freres & Co. LLC and a Director of AEA Investors LLC and Fiduciary Trust Co. International. He retired in from IPG in 2000 and launched Geier Group, a consulting company, with his daughter, Hope Geier Smith, who has served as managing partner.
