Nadine Basha

As a former teacher, Nadine has spent her adult life as an education proponent advocating for Arizona’s children. She has served on numerous boards and committees in conjunction with state and community agencies, the Governor’s Office and ASU. Nadine also served on the State Board of Education and was one of the visionaries who launched a successful statewide ballot initiative, First Things First, implementing high-quality early childhood systems that support the development, health and early education of children birth through age 5 to ensure that all of Arizona’s children are ready to succeed in school and in life.
