About WHAT WE DO HISTORY Our Mission The Charles and Marie Robertson Foundation (CMRF) is a family foundation whose mission is to promote liberty, virtue and civil society. This mission is based on the belief in a humanitarian duty to enhance well-being, self-sufficiency, and moral excellence in our communities. Areas Of Focus Health: Through organizations that do both scientific research and community based, therapeutic health care, we support solutions to life-threatening or debilitating conditions that broadly affect Americans. Education: The foundation supports programs which follow the example of the liberal arts tradition, emphasizing broad edification through basic virtues, personal character development and civic engagement, for a well-rounded citizenry.
