Erin Graefe is a Vice President at Timmons and Co. and focuses on lobbying and government relations for clients on a wide range of issues. She has extensive Capitol Hill relationships, including with the House Democratic Leadership. For over 14 years, Ms. Graefe worked one-on-one with Members of the House Democratic Leadership and their Chiefs of Staff, including Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Caucus Chair Rahm Emanuel and Congressman Jim Clyburn. Ms. Graefe also has had personal relationships with key committee Chairs and their staff, specifically, Chairman Charles Rangel, Chairman John Dingell, Chairman Collin Peterson, Chairman David Obey, Chairman John Spratt, Chairman Henry Waxman, Chairman Nick Rahall, Chairwoman Louise Slaughter, Chairman Bart Gordon and Chairman Jim Oberstar. In addition, Ms. Graefe has a track record of working with nearly every Democratic Member of the House of Representatives while at the DCCC and as a lobbyist, including recent freshmen, and extensive experience in building relationships between Congressional offices and the corporate community. A graduate of Boston College, Ms. Graefe lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband, Patrick Dorton, and her daughters Lily and Eliza. Over the course of nine years with the DCCC and two years as a lobbyist at The Harbour Group, Ms. Graefe worked with nearly every Democratic Member of the House of Representatives and developed a long track record of building relationships between Congressional offices and the corporate community. Before entering the private sector, Ms. Graefe was the Washington Finance Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). As Washington Finance Director, Ms. Graefe oversaw corporate, political action committee and labor union contributions to the DCCC in three consecutive record-breaking elections cycles, including an estimated $95 million 2002 cycle. In this post, she also led, planned, and organized events for leaders of the Democratic Party, including Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Charles Rangel, and Commerce Committee Ranking Member John Dingell.
