Lloyd H Dean

Mr. Dean has served as the president and CEO of Dignity Health (formerly named Catholic Healthcare West), a not-for-profit healthcare system located in San Francisco, California, since April 2000. Before joining Dignity Health, Mr. Dean held positions as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Advocate Health Care, and various management positions with The Upjohn Company. Mr. Dean is also a director of Cytori Therapeutics, Inc., and is chair of the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Committee on JOBS and a director of Mercy Housing California. He previously served as Chair of the Bay Area Council and Chairperson of the Catholic Health Association of the United States and was a member of its Board of Trustees. He is a member of McKesson’s Advisory Board and the Health Research and Development Institute.
