@seanhartnett @lakecabs we should make that list on LittleSis too...I bet there's lots to dig up. Washington power couples would be another interesting list.

on a humorous note, would it be possible to find some less than flattering pictures for more of these folks? shining light on them does not have to mean the best light does it?

remarkable nexus at caltech. they are certainly hedging their bets. the confluence of power, prestige, and money at the school deserves closer inspection. would love to see who benefits financially from the research done there...

@seanhartnett how about barron hilton (william hilton) of hilton family fortune? Donald Bren might also be an interesting one, given his role in Orange County and its incredible bubble. I think he's the biggest developer there.

@kevin more than happy to take on another... did you gave any specific baron in mind?

kevin
@seanhartnett great. the best way to expand on it is to start looking at the firms and foundations he's linked to.

seanhartnett
@kevin That makes sense.
I was looking for other ways to expand his page because he is getting pretty close to fleshed out.
I'll look into some other areas.
Thanks.

@seanhartnett you should create the relationships between Carlyle and the companies they're invested in (Booz Allen). It's an ownership relationship. With Rubenstein and Conway both on the Bubble Barons list, we should definitely be looking at where Carlyle is invested!
I guess the larger point is that you don't have to be making edits directly to the bubble baron's page, necessarily. As long as Rubenstein is linked to Carlyle, he's linked to the companies Carlyle is invested in. make sense?

@kevin As the senior officer at Carlyle, can one list as a relationship for Rubenstein majority stakes in other companies, i.e. Booz Allen?

@seanhartnett if I understand your question correctly, the "Add Relationship" tool handles it all: in order to add a friend, select a relationship with the category Social; financial advisors and money managers would be either Professional or Service/Transaction.
