@sundin @Karoli awesome work!
@Priscilla @ddwriter @Zora thanks for volunteering! as I understand it, the profiles we're looking to expand are those of Assurant lobbyists Ronny, Edwin, Laurel.
what are their official titles at Assurant? Who's in charge? It looks like their lobbying crew has shrunk over the past ten years -- guesses as to why?
if you can, try to see if they have other lobbyist types in Washington. people with titles like "VP for Government Policy." Hard for me to believe that they only have three.

@ddwriter -- awesome work on Blue Shield of CA's directors! which parent/child relationships are you confused about? since we're focused on finding bios, you could also move on to Highmark.
representing info on subsidiary and other org relationships can be really tough. honestly, LittleSis needs some work in that regard.
It's as if insurance companies developed these complex structures just to confuse us!

@ddwriter you can either create an ownership relationship between halliburton and the subsidiary (if it is not wholly owned by halliburton) or go to edit > hierarchy and use add child to add a wholly-owned subisidiary or division.

@ddwriter, I'm attaching a link to a document at the bottom of this note that contains a few different ways to glean information about each of the ten companies. Right now, we've got analysts working on Chevron, McKesson, Wells Fargo, Google, and Oracle. It's up to you if you want to collaborate with them on research, investigate different angles of those companies (involvement with fundraisers, academic institutions, government contracts, etc.) or choose one of the remaining companies to get started with.
Here's the document containing some research methodology: http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AZymAlT...

HCIU Congressional staffers turned health... Checking in to see how it's going. Even though the immediate deadline passed, I've been adding and updating Livingston Group profiles. My weekend work for the most part was trying to get a working start on indiv. profiles in terms of former staff and lobbyist history. Current employer and some transactions that I thought were viable. The plan was to complete the LG profile hopefully this week. I just wanted an OK from your end or if there's been a change in plans or a new direction let me know.

@heaney Got your email about tomorrow's deadline. Do you want me to continue with the Livingston Group or work on off the spreadsheet on Health care staffers list?

Cory Alexander the revolving door profile is for Michael J. Bell. My attempt to remove it was unsuccessful.
