Nanette Breitenbach was born on 10 Nov 1934 in Houston, Harris Co., TX and is the daughter of the late Julius Simon Breitenbach and Mildred Goodman. Her siblings include: Dolores Ann Breitenbach Maltz (deceased) and Judy Breitenbach. Nanette attended the University of Texas, where she was affiliated with Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. She gives of her time and talent for a number of organizations, including serving on the following: Chairman of the National Council for the Anderson Ranch Arts Center, Aspen, CO; Board of the University of Texas Medical Branch - Galveston; Board of the Houston Ballet Society; Board of the Houston Public Library; Trustee and Member of the Board of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts; and, Advisory Board of the Hospice Society as well as the Aspen Music Festival and School. She also served as the Chairman of the Good Samaritan Foundation Women’s Golf Tournament for 1989 and 1990. Nanette has an amazing personal artistic talent for creating the most exquisite miniature dioramas. She is most creative in arts and design work as well as decorating and needlepoint. Working with clay in her spare time is her first love, followed closely by a very good golf game.
