Founded China Care in 2000 at the age of just 16 after he witnessed the orphan crisis in China first-hand. His passion for China started when he lived in Beijing at the age of 11. Dalio graduated from Harvard University in 2006 and also created an online non-partisan blog newspaper called TheIssue.com. Matt Dalio’s original project, The China Care Foundation is now over a decade old and has 58 different China Care Clubs across the US and Canada. The Foundation raises money so orphans in China can receive necessary surgery that can make them more adoptable and also helps to ease the adoption costs for may American families who want a child.
