Mr. Charnas was elected Assistant Secretary in 1999. He was appointed a Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in 2002. Since 1999, he has headed the Corporate, Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions Section of HP's worldwide legal department. From September 2006 until February 2007, Mr. Charnas also served as Acting General Counsel of HP. Mr. Charnas is not an executive officer for purposes of Section 16 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. « less
