Edward J. Resch is executive vice president and chief financial officer of State Street Corporation. He is responsible for structured products, treasury, tax, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, corporate financial planning, accounting and financial operations, financial and business analysis, investor relations and strategic sourcing functions. Mr. Resch is also a member of State Street’s Operating Group, the company's most senior strategy and policy-making management committee.
Prior to joining State Street in 2002, Mr. Resch was chief financial officer of Pershing, a Credit Suisse First Boston subsidiary. Previous to that, he was managing director and chief accounting officer of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Inc., and chief financial and administrative officer of that firm's capital markets group. He also served as controller of Salomon Brothers in New York and worked for Price Waterhouse and Procter & Gamble.
Mr. Resch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rutgers University. « less
