Prior to joining private practice, Faberman served for 18 years with the Federal Aviation Administration as Acting Chief Counsel, Deputy Chief Counsel and Assistant Chief Counsel for Regulation and Enforcement. In recognition of his accomplishments at the agency-which included rebuilding the air traffic system after the air controllers’ strike-he was given a Presidential Award by President Reagan and a Superior Achievement Award by the Administrator. After leaving the FAA, Faberman spent 8 years as Assistant General Counsel and Vice President of Government Affairs for American Airlines, managing legislative and regulatory affairs for the airline and its subsidiaries. « less
