Jennifer Freeman

Jennifer Freeman has held diverse positions in both government and the private sector. Freeman is currently the assistant vice president for external affairs at Albany Medical Center where she oversees public relations, marketing, advertising and community education for the 7,000-employee academic medical center. From 2004 through 2010, Freeman served as a deputy press secretary for the OSC, where she managed and coordinated communications for state government, state fiscal and local government policy issues and audits. Before that, she worked as a senior public relations account executive at Media Logic and a legislative assistant for the New York State Assembly. Prior to moving to New York, Freeman was the assistant communications and consumer information director at the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. She has served on the board of directors for Capital District Community Gardens for more than a decade.
