To help clients determine and implement effective risk management programs, Dean’s practice delivers a comprehensive and global perspective of risks that are known and unknown for companies across a range of industries. PwC’s U.S. Risk Assurance practice brings together deep expertise in technology, finance, regulation and business processes to provide a holistic view of risks and deliver proven solutions in internal audit, third party assurance, process assurance, IT and project assurance, and governance risk and compliance to mitigate those risks. With over 28 years of manufacturing industry knowledge and a proven track record in counseling domestic and foreign-based multinational companies, Dean has served clients in the industrial products, chemicals, metals, packaging, business services and consumer products industries. Dean has significant SEC experience and has counseled hundreds of companies through major mergers and acquisitions, complex tax structures, corporate governance issues, and the intricacies of doing business outside the United States. Dean is regularly quoted in high-profile publications including Thompson Reuters, Risk Management Magazine, Corporate Risk & Insurance and Journal of Accountancy, among others. He currently serves on the Board of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and was recently appointed to its Audit Committee.
