age 62, has been a director of the Company since 2001 and a director of Anthem Insurance Companies, Inc. ("Anthem Insurance") from 1993 to May 2003. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Mays Chemical Company, Inc. (chemical distribution) since 1980. Mr. Mays is a director of Vectren Corporation (gas and electric utility). He is also a director of United Way of Central Indiana, the Indiana University Foundation, the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
At Indiana University in Bloomington, he majored in Chemistry and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1970. Majoring in Marketing and Finance, he received a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University in 1973.
