Kelly Loeffer is the CEO of Bakkt, a financial exchange platform created in 2018 as a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange and which initial focus is on trading and converting Bitcoin currency. She joined Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE) in 2002 where she held various positions, most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing and Investor Relations . Prior to joining ICE, Ms. Loeffler managed investor relations at Crossroads Investment Advisers, L.P., a private equity firm. She held equity research roles at William Blair & Company and Citi Global Asset Management. Ms. Loeffler began her career in the automotive industry, holding operations and marketing roles at Toyota Motor Sales, USA and Lexus Motor Sales, USA. Ms. Loeffler is also co-owner and co-chairman of the WNBA Atlanta Dream, the first women-owned professional sports team in Georgia. Ms. Loeffler is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Power Co, the Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter of the American Red Cross, the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Research Alliance, and a member of the Boards of Central Atlanta Progress, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Skyland Trail and the Atlanta Sports Council. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago. Ms. Loeffler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois and an MBA at the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. She is a CFA charterholder.
